Shopping List :
1 Pack Extra Lean BEEF Mince
Half Red Onion
1 Egg
Rocket, Tomato, Mayo
Blue Cheese (Cambazola is mild)
Ciabbatta Buns
Smoked back Bacon
Step By Step :
1. In a dry Pan fry off 4 pieces of Bacon
2. Finely chop Half a Red onion, Place in a large mixing bowl with 1 Table spoon Black Pepper, Pinch of Salt.
3. When bacon is cooked, finely chop and add to mixing bowl with BEEF mince and ONE egg.4. Mince Burger mix into a ball, go rough with it and make sure you give it a couple of mins mixing.
5. Split the ball in half, then the halfs in half and work into a patty shape. This takes a bit of doing but youll get it!
6. In a hot Griddle pan or BBQ grill the burgers. (TIP: Never turn or touch a burger untill you need too) cook a piece of bacon for each burger.
7. Half your buns and start to toast.
8. Flip Burgers and bacon, Add Blue Cheese to cooked side. More the merrier!
9. Take your Bun, ADD Mayo, then tomato and pickles if you want!
10. Add your Burger, Drape over the bacon, and on the other half of bun ADD Rocket. I like to serve open, you do what you want! Enjoy!
I love making my own burgers, it's really satisfying, but that really is the most ultimate burger I think I have ever seen. Can't wait to try it, thank you.

DeleteJust finished eating one of these burgers, very tasty! Thanks for the recipe, I used dolcelatte cheese and M&S "Ultimate burger buns", basically a brioche mix which worked well. We'd ran out of mayo so we used some tomato and red pepper relish. Yum :) Cheers, Rob
